I like writing about flying, science, culture, the unexpected, and the places I find myself. When I’m not writing, I’m usually on an airplane. Skyfaring was my first book, How to Land a Plane was my second, and Imagine a City is my third.
These days I'm a columnist for the Financial Times and a regular contributor to the New York Times, and other publications.
